As with anything, people tend to shun information that is new to them and different. The same goes with what is good for the planet. For so many years, people have been recklessly abusing our planet, and now we are beginning to see the consequences of it. But, the worst thing about this problem is that many people are STILL ignoring it! But you can help, and you can help by sticking up for our planet whenever and wherever you see an opportunity to do so.

Here are some ways in which you can make a difference to our planet by telling people about the truth. After all, if you live your life to help out planet, that is one person. But if you can persuade 3 others to do the same thing, then four times as much will be accomplished!

First, whenever you see someone litter, stop to pick it up. And if it is possible, tell them that behavior like this is what is causing the ice caps to melt, and is causing many animals to die out around the world. And if they still insist on littering, then ask them if it is ok that you come and dump all of your garbage in their living room… after all, if they can litter on the world you live on, why can’t you litter in their world?

Second, when people are “cruising” around, just burning fuel for no reason, tell them that it is bad for the environment, and that they should all try hanging out at one place, and avoid all the driving around. You might get laughed at and called a nerd, but hey… you are sticking up for a greater cause, and who knows?… someone might just listen to you.
